a little desert and a lot of writing

For this week and the next three weeks, I’m head-down writing my book (and will be off social media while I do). But I began this week speaking at the American Bookseller’s Association Children’s Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. It was my first in-person event in over three years (!) and it was a delight. I’m so grateful for the opportunity!

And now — back to writing. This book ain’t gonna write itself.
