bradford-on-avon
A few months ago, I learned of Bradford-on-Avon, a town only about an 8-minute train ride outside of Bath, and apparently so charming, it‘s nicknamed “Mini Bath.” So this trip, we decided to make a point of visiting.
Friends? It might be more charming.
Every time I’m in a town like this, I think of that Eddie Izzard bit that she did when on tour in the US, and she said, “I’m from England — you know, where the history is from.”
(Imean, there are obviously many places in the world with civilizations far older than the United Kingdom’s, but I take her point.)
Anyway. The best part about all of this is exploring these lovely places with these two beautiful souls.
