… all of you who after all these years still visit me here, sharing your warmth, intelligent comments, and glimpses of your beautiful selves. Thank you. And to those of you who celebrate, Happy Thanksgiving.
(Also, interesting reading for today: the story of the first Thanksgiving, or America’s original “migrant caravan.” While the author omits the fact the ancestors of most Americans who look like me didn’t “come to the west in search of a better life,” it’s an excellent read, and makes a wonderful point: special thanks are owed to the Native Americans tribes who showed so much kindness and generosity those many years ago.)
