this was a good week

This was a good week! Here’s why:

I spent an early Sunday morning downtown for an outdoor photoshoot (my first time downtown in a year!), I got to introduce you to the cover of the book, and we’ve got a few snow days coming — which is pretty rare in this part of the world — so we’re looking forward to hunkering down with a fire and some blankets over the next few days!

This homemade “pop instrument” is so cool.

• We drink lots of tea around here — and both Marcus and Alex are talented artists — I may have to challenge them to making art like this.

• The poor country of Bhutan has only lost one person to coronavirus. Here’s why.

This architect has taken on a personal project of saving the homes of the enslaved all over America. What an amazing project.

Joy, not perfection.

• And finally, for today’s soundtrack: Survivin’, by Bastille. Because aren’t we all?
