what's your anthem?

You know it's fall in Houston when you can sit outside in the early evening and it's cool enough that you'll not get devoured by mosquitos.

Well, it's a week after the election, and I'm finally feeling some semblance of normalcy.  I don't think my world has ever been rocked that much by an election, man.  That was something.

I will say that a lot of the reason that I feel better today is because of some work I was doing.  (Well that, and also the glass of wine I had on my patio this evening, above.)  I'm in the middle of working on a project for my job, and it required me to come up with an anthem -- identify a song that helps me get ready to face difficulty, or go into a tough situation, or helps me get ready to fight if fighting is required.

Now, you guys know I love music. I mean, I love music.  But for the life of me today, I couldn't come up with a song.  So I turned to Facebook.

Luckily, my friends love music as much as I do, and came up with some great songs.  But my sister reminded me of one I'd heard a few weeks ago, and yesss.  This is definitely my anthem song.  It is embarrassing how many solo dance parties I've had today to this song.

So, in exchange for sharing it with you, I want to ask:  what's your anthem song?  Share it in the comments below.  I promise:  just thinking about it (and reading everyone else's) will make you feel like you can conquer anything.

Here's mine -- The Greatest, by Sia, featuring Kendrick Lamar.  Now your turn.  Share yours, below.
