The word activist is a loaded one: it brings to mind violent images of protesters getting tear-gassed, or set on by police dogs.
But I believe that activism doesn’t have to be dangerous in order to be impactful.
It can be quieter.
activist: anyone who is led by their values to purposeful action, in the hopes of making the world brighter for others.
I invite you to consider the ways in which your own actions — especially those that bring you joy — might help make the world brighter for those who most need your light.
