getting my house back

I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth.

You know how when you've started a big project you're excited about, or a new relationship, you become completely single-minded, where you can think of absolutely nothing else except the subject of your new, undying emotion?  That's where I've been.  The construction workers have left our home, and all this week, I've been moving all of our furniture and our dishes and our stuff (Lord, who knew three people could amass so much stuff?!) back into our kitchen and family room.  As a result, it's all I can think about, and unfortunately, I'm not sure I could write about anything else but this kitchen renovation until it's finally and completely over.

The good news is that I think I'll be able to show you everything in the next day or two, and then we can move the heck on. 

So, this is just me popping in to let you know that I'm still here, and I'm sorry for my absence.  More very soon, I promise.
