#instacamp prompt week 4: lazy, hazy days of summer
We've arrived at our last prompt for #instacamp, my friends -- and this week, we're going to capture what summer is supposed to be all about. Ladies and gentlemen, our final prompt:
lazy, hazy summer days
To be clear: I understand that for many people, summer doesn't necessarily mean a slowing down of any kind -- in fact, with the kids at home, for a lot of parents, summer means even more daily activity than during the rest of the year. However, the purpose of this prompt is not only to take note of the times when you do relax; but also, to help you be mindful that you need to relax, and thus make an effort to do so, if only for 5 minutes.
So, decide to have a little lie-in one day? Grab a shot of your rumpled bedsheets, as the morning sun streams through your window.
Stopping for a moment for a cup of coffee or tea? Grab an image your steaming mug on your sunny dining table.
Stealing some time for a glass of wine at the end of the day? Grab a shot of that.
Show yourself lying in the grass barefoot. Take a photo of quiet time with your friend, your partner, your child.
Take a moment to rest. Breathe. And then, before you get up again, grab a quick shot.
And as always, I can't wait to see your work this week.
