this was a good week

This was a good week! Here’s why:

• We’ve officially thawed out from last week’s mess, I’m wearing my new coconut dress, and I’ll be hanging out this evening with my “cousins” over at Uncommon Caribbean for happy hour at 6pm Eastern, 5pm Central and 3pm Pacific — you should join us! (Don’t forget your rum!)

• I just bought this book, and I can’t wait to dig into it this weekend. Here’s to drawing without talent!

• I’d never heard the term “craftivism” before, but I can dig it.

• And speaking of craftiness, when I was a kid, macramé was a huge thing — but never as huge as this. Good Lord.

• Loved this article about how to use design thinking to create a happier life. Lots of food for thought.

• This actual NASA footage of Perseverance Rover’s landing on Mars this week brought me to happy tears. Celebrating success after hard work is my favourite emotion.
